Obituary of Stella Domanski
Stella Domanski, 90, of Brick, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
She was born in Baltimore, MD and lived there for seventeen years at the Saint Mary's Orphanage. For many years she lived in Jersey City and Bayonne, where she raised her family, before moving to Point Pleasant and Brick.
Stella worked at Saint Francis Hospital in Jersey City until her retirement in 1978. She was an active member, for many years, of the Trade Winds Chapter of Deborah. Stella also loved going to bingo, attending church daily, and spending time with her family.
Stella was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward, who died in 1985 and dear brother, Walter Lawnicki, while serving in the US Navy.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Domanski, M.D., her daughters, Ilene Domanski and Doreen Bremus; son-in-law, Robert Bremus; and grandson, John Bremus, all of Brick.
Visitation will be from 3 - 8 p.m., Thursday, March 7 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Friday, March 8, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter R.C. Church, Point Pleasant Beach, and followed by interment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
