Obituary of Mary C. Coble
Mary Critchfield Coble, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her home.
Born in Cumberland, MD, to the late Robert & Elizabeth May (Brown) Critchfield, she had lived in Roselle, residing in Point Pleasant since 1992.
Mrs. Coble worked for the Borough of Roselle Department of Public Works and also for the State of New Jersey Unemployment Office, Elizabeth.
She was a former member of the Roselle Republican Club and the First Presbyterian Church, Roselle, where she was a choir member and Sunday School teacher.
Her beloved husband, Worth D. Coble, Jr. predeceased her in 1988.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Lynn Young of Westfield and Ann E. Lappke and her husband Carl of Point Pleasant; two grandchildren, Michael Lappke and his wife Naomi and Robert Gronau and his wife Lori Ann; and four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, Robert, and Brooke.
Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m., Monday, December 10 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, a graveside service, followed by interment, will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
As an expression of sympathy, donations made in her memory to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
