Obituary of William J. Prati, Jr.

William J. Prati, Jr., 53, of Manchester, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

Born in Lakewood to the late William J. Prati, Sr. and Mary (Huhn) Prati, he lived most his life in Brick and since 2017 in Manchester.

Bill worked for Pep Boys in Toms River and was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He enjoyed going to the gun range and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Angelina Prati of Manchester; brother, John Bergmann and his wife, Diana of West Creek; sister, Cyndi Bergmann of Lakewood; longtime friend, Lisa Boone of Brick; and best friend, Joe Hadden of Manchester. He is also survived by his nephew, Jonathan; niece, Emily; great-nephews, Lincoln and Foster; and great-niece, Penelope.

Memorial visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Thursday, January 13 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 6 p.m. a prayer service will be held.
